GOP posing as teen Prom Queen (Erin Perkins) on Facebook

The other day I was on Facebook, and decided to become a fan of Ron Paul (lame I know, but I digress). Then a couple days later I get a friend request of a girl named "Erin Perkins".

Right away something seemed a bit odd – The picture seemed just a bit too perfect. Michael J. Fox could take steadier pictures than the majority of girls on Facebook. Also, I don't normally get many Facebook Friend Requests, especially not from hot young blonde prom queens.

Now let's take a look at her profile: She's 27 years old, prom would be when she was 18, meaning her picture is about nine years old. Ah wait, here we go:

How about the Facebook Groups that she is a member of:

Then today I received a group invitation from her:

At this point I got a bid annoyed and curious. I headed over to istockphoto and searched for "Prom" and a mere 3 pages in..

Now maybe this kind of thing is common, I really have no idea, so I apologize if this is the equivalent to going on a rant about receiving an email about a Nigerian prince.
